Perennial Sweet Pea and fencerows are symbols of the old homestead and these are the only hardy sweet peas I know of and the only ones that can tolerate the heat of the south as well as the dryness of the west. Prairies and weddings are what these pure beauties conjure in June and July. Will cover a stump or rock, needs support to climb. Lovely in bouquets. Grow with Blue Flax, Catchfly and Johnny Jump ups.
