What a way to love the heat... these tough sombreros will grow well in heat and drought and are wide-ranging through the south. The plants are substantial with some good soil, but will bloom well in poor soil too. Narrow leaves make the slender hats graceful, and I like to grow with Prairie Coneflower, its lovely twin cousin in plain yellow.
